Create RPG-esque Effects in Amateur Videos…?

I’m hoping to do a video of sorts based on an RPG of sorts. I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to use movie maker programs to put in things like spells and moves so that they looked kinda cool (although obviously not of hollywood or video game quality). For what I’m looking for, I’d say check out like College Saga, though I would prefer to do something less turn-based and more live-action (sorta like the Tales of… Series of games).

Any advice that can be given will be appreciated. I have a small bit of experience with inserting titles and stuff and Adobe Premiere but as of now all I have is Windows Movie Maker.

I made a “live” footage/CGI animation Using Image ready….just upload your footage into the program it will break it down into frames and then you can animate frame by frame.

If you need the program download it off of limewire…just search programs for photoshop 7.0 and download the 650 MB one.
