Can a regular digital camera or a webcam take video and edit to 3d to watch in 3d?
i’m wondering can webcams/ digital camera take videos and then edit the video into 3-d so by wearing a 3d glasses you’ll see the video in 3d.
It should work. You just need two cameras (same make/model is best) and some editing skills. Just mount the two cameras side by side at the same focal length, shoot your subject and overlay the two videos in Final Cut with one video color “balanced” to be red and the other to be blue. The two videos have to be offset to make the 3d effect, don’t try and match up the subjects just square up the frames. Wear your glasses when you tweak the colors to make sure you are keying the videos to the right wavelengths to be blocked by the glasses. Let me know if you do it, good idea.
