Special Effects – Gore?
What are the cheapest and most realistic ways to make fake blood and brains? Like, red food dye and porridge or something? All ideas welcome! Please Help!
Well, for the blood it will need to be thick. It also depends on the shot. If it’s blood that’s stained on someones shirt (or something of the like) then red (washable) food coloring will work. As for the actual gore. Anything will do. From your post I’m guessing you are looking for a cracked open head effect. You can get creative and do something that looks really weird. Google can probably help you in finding out how to make a head with brains inside.
