How to edit HD Video with AVCHD Video Editor
HD Video Editor is powerful HD Video Editor which can be used for editing HD Video and creating videos. Features include accurate FLV trimming and cropping, adding more than one watermark, merging multiple HD Video, creating a project file to edit later, picture sequences output and inserting special effects. Insert one or more audio tracks in your media file, mix or trim audio clips. Split video into scenes and delete unnecessary ones, Choose innovative video effects and transitions, Apply text and credits to video.
Step 1: Download and install AVCHD Video Editor
Download AVS Video Editor, run AVSVideoEditor.exe and follow the installation wizard instructions.
Step 2: Launch AVS Video Editor and load your video
Run AVCHD Video Editor. A new empty project will be created automatically. Press the Import button placed in the file area of the Main Video pane to load the desired video file:
Select your video and press Open:
The selected video file will be added into the Video category:
Step 3: Add your video to the Timeline area
Add the desired effect to the Timeline
Click the video effects pane and choose the effect you like best in the right area then drag and drop it to the Video effects row of the Timeline:
Step 4: Define the effect startup moment
Click the effect block and move it along the row holding the mouse button, if the suitable moment for the effect to start is caught release the mouse button:
Step 5: Define the effect duration
Bring the mouse cursor to the effect block right border until it looks like . Without releasing the left mouse button stretch or narrow the block, if the suitable moment for the effect cancellation is caught release the mouse button:
Note: you can also define the effect duration by clicking the Duration button which appears on the panel placed a bit above at the moment you click the effect block.
Step 6: Adjust the effect properties
Double click the effect block to load its properties window and adjust them the way you like then click OK:
