Can anyone tell me how hollywood does special effects like in prince caspian of narnia when that huge guy pops out the river made of water, or how will smith flies down LA highway and jumps into that car and it shows him stopping the car with his feet. CGI is used for visual effects because computer generated effects are more controllable than other more physically based processes, such as constructing miniatures for effects shots or hiring extras for crowd scenes, and because it allows the creation of images that would not be feasible using any other technology.
