fake blood for sale

How do I make fake scars for Halloween?
My little brother used those fake ones you buy at the drugstore and stick to your face, and they just didn’t work out so well it didn’t even look slightly natural. I have fake blood, I bought it unopened at a garage sale for 50 cents, and I have a bout a half gallon of it, for my halloween costume I’m going to have bloody scars on my wrists because my emo guy friend suggested it would make my costume
look better, but he didn’t mention on how to actually do it. So, um, do you want to tell me?
order online or find a local theatrical supply store and order liquid latex, or whatever brand they carry and as long as you are not allergic to latex.
lay out a sheet of aluminum foil and pour a small amount of latex on it. shape to form and add whatever you need to make it look better or chuck, it’s all about your imagination. let dry over night.
next day, attach latex to skin with spirit gum, findable at same locations latex was bought or from any party supply store that sells costumes. if the latex edges aretoo sharp for your tastes, sponge on a bit of liquid latex in very thin layers and let dry, so on and so forth. May take a few hours in totality.
Once dry add makeup to remove the pink quality and make it more life like. if you want blood in the wounds, this would be the perfect time to add your stage blood. Stage blood has a tendency to be very sticky since it is mostly etable corn syrup. Be prepared for that. And for the love of god don’t let it stain your carpet, sink, walls or clothing.
