Can anyone give me the name of this vampire spoof film from the ’80′s?

The lead actress was a lovely blond with a French sounding last name. The story premise was that a coffin had been shipped from somewhere in Europe to I believe New Orleans. The casket was damaged in shipment & the contents was a beautiful vampire who when awakened from her long sleep went searching for blood. She sees a sign that says ‘Blood Bank’ & rushes in. Upon requesting several pints of blood, the attendant says ‘You don’t understand. Here you give blood, not take it out’ She promply faints.

Fast forward. The newly awakened ‘vampire’ gets an apartment that she never furnishes with anything except in her bedroom where she sleeps in a coffin. The refrigerator in the kitchen is filled with bottles of blood. She has a hispanic maid (this gal is a riot) who comes in a vacuums, Tsk tsk’s over the blood in the fridge but never questions these oddities. The whole movie had me in stitches. I saw it once on TV some time ago & have never seen it since.

Help!!

…your description virtually screams variety, as it seems you have culled details from a trio of female vampire films, or female vampire film spoofs, from the ’80′s.

You’re either talking about 1980′s “Mamma Dracula”, starring Louis Fletcher, “The Hunger” (1983), starring Catherine Deneuve, Susan Sarandon and David Bowie, or “Once Bitten” (1985), starring Lauren Hutton, Cleavon Little, and…Good God!!!…was that Jim Carrey???

I have attached the webpage for all three, for your review and scrutinization…hope this helps!!!
