blood banks in colorado
Colorado Avalanche player Joe Sakic is out for 3 months because of a hand injury sustained during a freak ?

snowblower accident at his home in suburban Denver. First off, are you freaking kidding me here? He has been in the league for 20 years. He’s 39 and has made a total of 88 million dollars in his career. Why in the hell would he have to be out snowblowing his own driveway? With that kind of money in the bank that he’s made? There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for his actions/accident. In my opinion, he shouldn’t even be paid for the next 3 months, do you agree with me? He can afford to hire guys to plow or shovel his driveway. He shouldn’t have been doing this himself. These kind of stories about overpaid athletes getting injured in these kinda ways just makes my blood boil.

I think it was good that he was out there. Just because he was recovering from an injury doesn’t mean he shouldn’t try his best to keep in shape. And there is so much of riding an exercise bike or comfortable while injured riding, one can do.

I would suspect that he would feel stupid around the family riding the bike all day around his family while the snow piled up on the driveway. Then again, probably not as stupid as he feels now.
