Good Friday…why is this not recognized as a holiday in the United States.?
In Canada … Good Friday is a recognized holiday that people do not work on unless you are a hospital staff/police/ambulance drivers/stores/answering services … basically essential services and when you do you get paid your regular pay plus time and a half pay… All banks – lawyers – doctor offices – dentists – offices (federal & provincial govt) -schools.. car part dealers ..you get the idea are all closed… this is the day that Jesus was put on the cross and died for our sins… Don’t you think this should be a holiday – just for us to THANK the Lord for sending his son so we could be covered by the blood of the lamb and have our sins forgiven.. USA is a big country and lots of Christians there. Yet banks and offices are open.. can you explain why?
So move to Canada.
