Are the 9mm special effects custom contacts a fake?
I want to get a pair of contacts from their site and i want to know if it worth it. Please answer if you have proof or if you had actually bought contacts from their site.
I don’t think they sell fake lenses, but they are certainly very expensive on this site. Good for you for checking, though, because there are lots of sites and stores out there that sell knock-off special effect lenses.
I would suggest that you always look for FDA approved special effect lenses. If they are FDA approved, they will be made the same way that regular colored lenses are made, or if they are the custom ordered ones, then they are made with FDA approved paints.
My bf got a pair of Darth Vader ones from CoastalContacts.com for Halloween last year, and they looked awesome! I think they were about $80 for the pair. I looked at the 9mmsfx site and those same lenses were $200.
